This course is designed to prepare students for more advanced science courses, primarily chemistry, physics, and allied college courses. It supplies the fundamental principles underlying the structures and functions of biological systems and develops an inquiring and rational cause-and-effect mindset that applies to nearly all areas of life. The textbook reinforces a Christian worldview of science by showing how science reveals the secrets of creation hidden there by God and how science helps people lead better, safer lives. The students will be learning how to complete the scientific process and complete a lab report. We will work toward completing a chapter in the book every three to four classes and completing all 42 experiments in the lab manual.
